Hi Reader,
How do you get unstuck?
And how do you know when you have to push yourself forward? And when is it better to wait and let things unfold in their own time?
I’ve been feeling stuck with how (or if) I wanted to grow my business since the end of summer. Over the past year, I pushed myself forward into some ideas & projects that paid off financially, but in the end, they just didn’t line up with what I actually ENJOY doing and what I could sustain long-term in my business.
When I realized that, I had to take a moment to realign myself. I went back to my yoga roots & took some time to tune in through my body to invite another path to emerge. I had some great conversations with clients & friends as I was simmering on these new ideas and their thoughtful input & support was so helpful. (A reminder to connect with your people when you feel stuck!)
As much as I wanted to push forward with SOMETHING, I decided to wait for inspiration to strike. My Human Design type is “generator” & from what I know, this is how I’m supposed to do things. Rather than push, it’s better to respond.
Eventually, things began to coalesce & I could envision where I wanted my business to go. I knew I wanted to coach again in addition to the VA work I’ve been LOVING - but I didn’t want to go back to sex coaching. I love this space of supporting entrepreneurs too much to consider doing anything different.
Once I started to feel some momentum, I took action & began working through a creative process that I have since started teaching! (Check it out here.)
I looked for inspiration around & within me & leaned into the core purpose of everything I’ve ever done, which is to invite women back into their bodies so that they can lead joy-filled, meaningful lives doing things they love doing (including work).
The Business of Pleasure™ coaching framework emerged & so did this newsletter, Sunday Brunch, & a few other sweet ideas you’ll see coming in the next few weeks.
Sunday Brunch is something I love both in REAL life & as an idea. Brunch is in between breakfast & lunch - it’s liminal. It’s neither one or the other. It’s both AND.
It’s sweet & savoury.
And it’s best enjoyed with friends.
My work is the same. I want to help you build a bridge between your inner world & your outer world so they feel more congruent & you feel clear about your direction.
My work exists both as tangible strategic support for your business & as a sacred invitation for your creative genius to flow through your body.
It’s sweet.
And it’s all about savouring.
And it’s best enjoyed with friends.
So, welcome to Sunday Brunch.🥑
I’m so happy you’re here! Let’s dig in!

“Any action is often better than no action, especially if you have been stuck in an unhappy situation for a long time. If it is a mistake, at least you learn something in which case it’s no longer a mistake. If you remain stuck, you learn nothing.” Eckhart Tolle
📓 journal prompts
Feeling stuck? Here are a few journal prompts to help you shift that energy.
- How will you know when you aren’t stuck anymore? What will be different? What observable changes would you see?
- What do you already have (skills, resources, support) that could move you forward?
- What if time & money were not an issue - what would you do to get unstuck?
- What is the decision you’ve been avoiding?
- So… what WILL you do? And when will you take action?

Some things I've been loving lately.
Manychat Automations - The link in bio is officially OVER! I wrote a whole blog post about this last week, read it here. I love these automations - by far the easiest and best way to get folks to do something when you share a CTA on an IG post. Check out my blog post here. |
Brain FM - I love a good focus playlist on Spotify, but something about Brain FM just hits differently. I love how the timer records the number of focus hours you have in a day - definitely a game-changer when it comes to getting big projects done! Check it out here. |
Raycon Everyday Headphones - I finally caved and bought myself some noise-cancelling headphones. I’d been seeing the Raycon brand around for a while and thought I’d check them out. LOVING the way they help me focus!! |

🎧 the soundtrack
What's playing on the treadmill, in the car, & in the kitchen this week? I've been digging the 80's revival happening on TikTok. I love how Gen-Z is discovering the classics like Blue Monday & Small Town Boy. In return, I've also added some of my Gen-Z faves.
This playlist is inspired by my love of pop & indie music. Every week I'll share a playlist inspired by my current mood. If you have suggestions for music I NEED to be playing on repeat - hit reply & share your faves! I'm open to any genre except country music... Noah Kahan is my limit there. If I can get away with calling it folk or indie, I'm okay. 😂
🎵 enjoy

Kim is the owner of Still Physio in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Kim received the Canadian Digital Adoption Grant and used the funds to hire me for support in launching her upcoming Elite Experience program.
Our work is ongoing as we bring her work to a larger online audience starting with the launch of her AMAZING new website built on Showit. I’m in LOVE with this layout & the simplicity of the design. We co-created this project & it truly was a labour of love. Check it out.
